The ETAA is pleased to announce the inaugural Brittney Anning Business Excellence Award. Brittney was a passionate and dedicated therapist and business owner, excelling in developing her business with her going full time as a therapist only a few months after qualifying! Brittney was always looking at how she could expand and improve her business, and was constantly attending courses, workshops, doing research, and trialing products to help her reach her goals. When she received the devastating news that she had melanoma that had spread, she didn’t let that stop her. She continued to develop different ways of running her business, conducting clinics, selling products and working as the ETAA Admin Officer when she became unable to massage horses.

The Brittney Anning Business Excellence Award has been created to honour the memory of this inspirational businesswoman and equine therapist. The total value of this award is $1000, which can be used towards any of the following areas (or any combination of multiple areas):

  • Skills & Knowledge development (e.g. courses, workshops, educational resources)
  • Business development (e.g. business coaching, website development)
  • Service development (e.g. equipment)

Please note: you may nominate areas not mentioned above if they will assist in developing your skills or business.

This award is open to current members of the ETAA. Applications are now open and will close on 31st August 2-22. the winner will be announced in mid-September and will be selected by a panel of judges.
